From pool room to board room, Charles H. Newman has had a variety of experiences getting to where he is today – an internationally recognized expert in forming sustainable, strategic business alliances. After serving in the Air Force, Mr. Newman obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Babson College (then Babson Institute) a highly recognized business school outside of Boston, Massachusetts. In 1963, he joined Ford Motor Company for six years, three of which were spent in Argentina and Venezuela, and then returned to Babson to get his M.B.A. He then returned to Ford to pursue his interests in the automotive industry. He believes that by taking the circuitous route to obtaining his degrees, he was able to learn a lot about people in various circumstances and environments. Ultimately it was these relationships and experiences that provided the foundation for building alliances around the world.
